About the project
Seeking a Roblox developer to help bring a modern day-trading lifestyle simulator to life. Players start in a small apartment with a PC and 10k in-game currency, trading simulated stocks and options to climb the social ladder. As they earn more, players unlock Miami-style high-rise apartments, supercars, luxury watches, designer clothes, and club access. The core loop includes risk/reward stock trading, loss penalties, timed currency regeneration, and optional microtransactions for instant top-ups. You’ll help design and implement the trading systems, progression, and monetization in an engaging and replayable experience.
Requirements
- Design and implement a functional in-game stock/options trading system - Create progression systems for apartments, cars, clubs, and luxury items - Implement cooldowns, currency caps, and loss/regen mechanics - Integrate microtransactions and gamepasses for currency top-ups and perks - Collaborate on UI/UX for trading terminal, portfolios, and lifestyle upgrades - Optimize for performance and a smooth experience on PC and mobile
